Кувейт нагородив українського капітана за порятунок екіпажу арабського рибальського судна
Через шторм барка арабських моряків перекинулась і вони опинилися у воді. На щастя, це сталося за курсом торговельного судна, яким командував українець.
Влада Кувейту представила до нагороди українця Костянтина Соболевського — капітана судна торгового флоту Athena. Уродженець Дніпра врятував трьох місцевих рибалок, які тонули у водах Кувейту, повідомляє благодійна організація “Фонд допомоги морякам “Асоль”.
17 січня, під час здійснення рейсу з ОАЄ в Кувейт судно українського капітана зуміло запобігти морській трагедії. У регіональних водах Кувейту через шторм перекинулася рибальська барка і троє місцевих рибалок опинилися за бортом. На їхнє щастя, біля місця аварії проходило торгове судно і вахтовий почув крики людей, які потопають.
Екіпаж українського капітана зумів провести рятувальну операцію і всіх трьох рибалок було піднято на борт, де їм надали необхідну медичну допомогу. Зазначається, що чоловіки, які зазнали краху, знаходилися досить довгий час у воді та були дуже знесилені. Після прибуття в порт рибалки були передані портовій владі, зараз їхньому життю нічого не загрожує.
Наступного дня капітана Соболевського викликали в Управління портів Кувейту, де офіційні особи морського відомства вручили нагороду українцю та його команді за високий професіоналізм і порятунок життів на морі.
Нагадаємо, екіпаж російського суховантажу, перебуваючи у стані алкогольного сп’яніння, враховуючи капітана, ледь не протаранив пляж на Собешівському острові у Гданську. На запит польської прикордонної служби екіпаж суховантажного судна не реагував, тому для перехоплення судна відправили кілька швидкісних прикордонних катерів і швидкохідне рятувальне судно.
