Про це міський голова Миколаєва Олександр Сенкевич розповів британській The Telegraph, розмістивши повідомлення у своєму Телеграм-каналі, повідомляє Укрінформ.
«Миколаїв відбив уже дві атаки російських військ. У цьому допомагають не лише регулярні війська, а й місцеві жителі, що риють окопи. Два головні мости Миколаєва заміновані. Я залишусь тут зі своїми людьми до кінця. Капітан завжди йде з корабля останнім», – наголосив Сенкевич.
За його словами, на даний момент у місті загинуло близько 40 людей.
Як повідомлялося, Сенкевич звернувся до російських солдатів і пообіцяв їм пекло, якщо вони не повернуться до себе додому.
