На кадрах, опублікованих Міністерством оборони, кириличним текстом, накладеним на відео, йдеться про те, що обладнання, створене спеціально для знищення небезпечних біологічних відходів, виготовлене петербурзькою компанією Tourmaline. На веб-сайті компанії зазначено, що це “Російська сміттєспалювальна компанія”.
Спроби The Telegraph зв’язатися з компанією залишилися без відповіді.
“Якби я був солдатом і знав, що мої генерали так мало вірять у мене, що ходять за мною полем бою з мобільним крематорієм, або я був би матір’ю чи батьком сина, потенційно відправленого в зону бойових дій, а мій уряд вирішив би, що спосіб приховати втрату – це мобільний крематорій, я був би глибокостурбованим”, – йдеться у повідомленні.
“Це дуже жахливий побічний ефект того, як росіяни ставляться до своїх сил, і до тих, хто служив, і, будучи солдатом, усвідомлювати – вас випарують, якщо ви загинете в бою. Це, ймовірно, все те, що слід знати про російський режим”, – наголошує автор.
Місцеві та міжнародні ЗМІ, правозахисні групи та місцеві активісти повідомляли, що російських солдатів ховають у безіменних могилах, намагаючись приховати той факт, що вони воюють на території України. Групи протесту, багато з яких сформовані матерями зниклих безвісти та загиблих солдатів, виникли по всій Росії, зокрема в Москві.
Одна група, Комітет солдатських матерів, звинуватила Володимира Путіна в порушенні міжнародного права і заявила, що російські військові командири змушували солдатів нелегально воювати в Україні, “поки матері анонімно отримують труни зі своїми синами”, повідомляє Washington Post.
